Every Friday we are offering you an open, ski touring group!

Are you thinking about trying to skitour for quiete a while now or would you like to join a group? We have the perfect offer for you! The Stemmerkogel offers a short and easy hike up and provides stunning runs down. Doesn`t matter if you are a beginner or professional, there are several routes to ski down, no matter what skiing level you are. If your fitness allows, we would have plenty of oppertunities to hike back up and enjoy another run in perfect powder conditions.

Programm:

To go up we take the Westgipfelbahn. We start with an on and off slope powder training to practice powder technique towards the starting point of our skitour. Followed by a short introduction of how to use your avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe. As we are hiking up of course we supply you with tipps and tricks suchs as propper walking technique. On the summit we are enjoying the amazing scenery, totally surrounded by mountains. Depending on snow conditions and your skiing level we are discussing together which way we are choosing to ski down. If your physical shape allows we could hike back up and enjoy a second run in perfect powder snow.

Meeting point: 9.00 am, bottom station Westgipfelbahn, Hinterglemm

Duration: whole day (min. 5 hours)

Participants: min. 4 persons

Prerequisite: safe skiing on red slopes or offpiste experience

Price: 120,-€ pro person, incl. avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe, not included is the lift ticket and the ski touring equipment
